What is it with FOX and chopping off hands? (Any Prison Break fans here?)

It's on thin Ice with me. I'll give it 3 more episodes and if I still don't care I'm dumping it.

It is as ridiculous as ever. The lady that was afraid to hold a gun last season was actually working undercover with the Russian mob for two years before that? Really?

I can't stop watching and pointing out the ridiculousness as I watch. It makes it so much more entertaining. It is like an MST3K show happening in my living room.

I don't know why we keep having threads for this show when for the past four seasons, we've pretty much overwhelmingly hated it. Last season was an exception, but after season 4 I think the real discussion of what was going on was dead, because we knew that however much credit we TRIED to give the writers for coming up with clever conspiracies and complicated plot twists, we were wrong, and they sucked.

I thought it was Day 3 when we did that. Hell, most of Day 2 was that way too. I swear we all here (especially when we were talking about it with Jed and even Cap) had much better plots and connections.

You're right, it was Day 3. Day 2 we maintained hope because while the hour to hour plot still sucked, they seemed to have some good big conspiracies still (such as Nina's mysterious employer and the attempted murder of Palmer at the end). But Day 3 was where we realized they were just jerking us around with that. Sad.

Yep. Day 3 ruined it for good. It was as if they were making it up from week to week, and not thinking more than 3 or 4 episodes ahead. Just imagine if they had Abrams working on it.

I think so. The one where he went undercover in Mexico of all places, right? Which day did he cry for 12 seconds at the end of the season?

I can't remember! It might be day 4. When did he get captured by the Chinese? 5, right? Then in 6 he went vampire on a dude early on and had to kill his brother and father? I think it must be 4. Was that the season with "Marwan" as the villain? I think it was that one.

How about the fact that Jack was super-pissed when whatsherface chopped off that dude's hand, yet in season 3 he chopped of a freakin guys head to maintain his cover? What a hypocrite.

They are run together, but have nothing to do with one another.

Well, why would they have anything to do with each other? That could be said about hour X and hour X+2 in any given day's events.

Since Dollhouse is dead, can't we just get Penikett and Sakhoff back and do some more BSG episodes or something?

24 has never recovered from the infamous Kim And The Cougar Episode.

    And yet I watch.

    Again.

On a positive note, I think the visual quality of the show ( the look & feel, choice of locations, etc) is excellent this season. They've stepped it up in that department.

In season's past, it sort of looked like a tired retread of an episode of Adam12 or Cannon.
Jim Rockford chases bad guy down an alley in Los Angeles. Yawn.

The show went far lower than Kim and the Cougar. And I am not buying anything special about the visuals this season.

What pisses me off the most is that they did last season pretty well. Certainly the best since the first, and possibly better throughout than even that. Why did they fall off the wagon??

I love how Jack gets the crap kicked out of himself early in the day, but a couple of hours later a wound that should take weeks to heal is as good as new.

    And yet I still watch.

Yeah. Like a couple episodes ago Herk (from The Wire) beat the sh!t out of him, including repeated blows to the face drawing blood, but even later the same episode Jack was perfectly fine, including no bruising, swelling, or cuts to the face.

I sort of watch it. Too bad they got rid of the first legitimately interesting character they've had in years. Also, too bad this show is clearly one that will never end gracefully.

Which character are you referring to? And which of the 2 won't end gracefully? Lol. I wish I was a scriptwriter for NBC. I already have the next volume of Heroes plotted in my head, and i doubt they will ever do it. Lol.
